Training programme for the extraordinary ministers of Diocese of Mangalore was organized at Mangalajyothi Bajjodi on 16.06.2019 from 9 am to 2.30 pm. Dr Ronald Serrao, Rector of St Joseph seminary and Fr Vijay Machado Director of Mangala Jyothi conducted the session. 124 candidates were present.

Adult Catechesis and Inauguration of the Catechetical Year - Siddakatte Parish
Catechetical Year 2019-20 was inaugurated on 9th June 2019 at siddakatte Parish. Fr Vijay Machado, Director of Mangalajyothi spoke on the topic importance of catechism and Faith formation. He also instructed the parents of their role in teaching catechism and formation of students. Fr Vijay also addressed the students and teachers.
Extraordinary Ministers Recollection - Bantwal Deanery
Recollection for Extraordinary ministers of Bantwal deanery was organized at Monte Mariano Farangipet on 09.06.2019. Fr Vijay Machado conducted the recollection. About 55 members were present. Fr Jerry OFM Cap made all arrangements.
Catechism Teachers Get together and Seminar Bantwal Deanery
Get together and training program for catechism teachers of Bantwal Deanery was organized on 09.06.2019 @ Modankap parish. Dr Pius James Dsouza conducted session on How to Use Bible in catechesis. Fr Vijay Machado spoke on programs of the year. Fr Alwyn Dcunha priest coordinator of the deanery organized this program. 80 teachers were present.
The training for newly selected catechism teachers from the Diocese of Mangalore was held on 02 June 2019 at Mangala Jyothi. 104 teachers were present and awarded with certificate.
